Open to all ages, we’re inviting budding artists to take part in sketching sessions to help create a huge floorplan of York Minster below the 13th century Five Sisters Window. The individual drawings will link together to create each section of the cathedral, with the progress being captured by a timelapse video which will be available to view on the cathedral’s website and social media channels.

We’re also bringing back our popular TagTool station! Animate your drawings on one of our special iPads and see it projected live onto the walls of York Minster.

The TagTool station is subject to availability and drawing time may be limited.

The above activities are free with general admission. Admission tickets are valid for 12 months and family tickets start at £10 for up to four children visiting with one adult. Admission to York Minster is free for under-16s and York residents with valid proof of address or a York card.
