Carys Bray is the author of two novels and two collections of short stories.
A Song for Issy Bradley, tells the story of each member of the Bradley family as they experience a devastating loss. It has won numerous awards, was a Richard & Judy Summer Read and a Radio 4 Book at Bedtime in 2015.
The Museum of You tells the story of twelve year old Clover Quinn and her quest to find the truth about her life in a tender, moving and unexpectedly funny novel about a father, a daughter and a missing mother.
In this event in association with York Literature Festival Carys will be talking about her novels, short stories and her motivations and inspirations in writing her compassionate yet ultimately life-affirming books.
