Police appeal following recent bicycle theft at Acomb

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a bicycle theft that occurred The Green  in Acomb, York.
Appeal following recent bicycle theft at AcombIt happened between 7.30pm on Wednesday 9 August 2017 and 7.30am on Thursday 10 August 2017 when a garage was broken into at a property on The Green.

Two bicycles were stolen during the break in:
• A Yellow Cannondale hybrid bike
• A white Giant road bike

We are appealing for information about the theft and or the whereabouts of the bicycles.

York Police appeal for information following bike theft at Clifton Moor, York

CCTV images released

North Yorkshire Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to, in relation to the theft of bike from outside Pure Gym on Clifton Moor, York.

At around 9.20am on 26 October a green Claude Butler racing bike with flat handlebars was allegedly stolen from outside the gym.

The man pictured was seen leaving the gym on Stirling Road at around the same time and may have important information that could assist the investigation.

Police in York are seeking the owners of recovered bicycles – likely to be from Foxwood area

North Yorkshire Police is seeking the owners of several bicycles recovered by police in West York on Sunday 1 November 2015.

On Sunday 1 November 2015 police recovered several bicycles from an address on Thoresby Road in West York. The bicycles are believed to have been stolen earlier that day, most likely in the Foxwood area of York. However, so far, only one of these bicycles has been reported stolen.

We are conducting enquiries in respect of these bicycles. In particular, we are seeking to identify their owners so that their bicycles may be returned to them.
