Author events:
11:00-11:45 Ros Beardshaw
Ros lives in York and is the illustrator behind many books for children, including ‘Just Right For Two’. Ros will talk about her pictures and provide some drawing exercises for children to try.
12:15-13:00 Sam Zuppardi
Sam lives in York and is an illustrator who works mostly in acrylic, watercolour, pencil and ink, and collage. I like to create pictures that look homemade and write stories that deal with the kinds of things that preoccupy you when you’re little. Sam’s books for children include ‘Nobody’s Perfect’.
13:30-14:30 Craig Bradley
Craig Bradley (aka ‘That Poetry Bloke’) has entertained and inspired thousands of children in the last 8 years as he has travelled all over the North of England with his anarchic, hilarious, high-energy poetry routine. Don’t miss Craig’s debut at York Literature Festival!
15:00-16:00 Kjartan Poskitt
Kjartan Poskitt is a children’s author based in York. His books include the very popular ‘Agatha Parrot’ series. Kjartan will finish the day with a fantastic, fun-filled performance.
