Officials from Münster join businesses across York for One Planet York expo

Businesses and organisations from across York are set to join officials from Münster at this year’s One Planet York expo on 13 June.

The event is being held at the Ron Cooke Hub at the University of York between 12noon and 5pm and is set to build on last year’s inaugural event by attracting hundreds of people.

One Planet York is a growing network of organisations working towards creating a more thriving local economy, stronger communities and a sustainable way of life; a city where residents are healthy, happy and prosperous.

The expo will explore practical examples of how businesses across the city are working towards achieving these One Planet York goals. Some examples being showcased at the event will be First York demonstrating a new low emission bus, details of the first ever national clean air day (15 June) andfree personal health checks from the YorWellbeing service.
