Yorkshire Water have written to us to say “As part of our ongoing investment programme to improve and maintain the high standard of water quality, we have a statutory obligation to undertake work.
We plan to refurbish the water mains in your area. The work will involve us replacing approximately 250 metres of water main on Green Lane between properties
73 – 97, starting during the week commencing 14 March 2011. We will be on site for approximately 3 weeks.
In order to carry out this work safely it will be necessary to use traffic lights”.
