Curfew and fines for dangerous dog’s owners living in Kingsway North

 

The owners of a mastiff-type dog which attacked and seriously injured two other dogs, were yesterday (24 May) fined a total £600, have been disqualified from owning or walking a dog for five years and have had a curfew imposed on them.

City of York Council prosecuted Kelly Coxon (age 37) and Wayne Martin (aged 27) both of Kingsway North, York, of two offences under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

The dog, named Sally, attacked a black Labrador and a Yorkshire terrier which nearly died as a result of its injuries. (more…)
