91 positive test results today. They bring the total up to 17,140

The rate /100k population falls to 279.66.

Case numbers in the City have reduced by 46 today

Case numbers are expected to continue to decline slowly. The figures will be influenced by 108 positive results recorded on Monday – the largest single day total for a fortnight.



886 vaccinations were completed yesterday (Wednesday)


  • 7347 PCR tests were completed during the week ending 24th July 2021
  • Of these, 8.5% were positive. That is less than the 9.1% positivity found during the pervious week.
  • In addition, 2067 “lateral flow” tests were completed on 28th July 2021
