No more hospital deaths have been announced today

Test results

Two additional positive test results announced today. Brings the cumulative total up to 12,280

The number of cases in the City has fallen from 54 to 46 today

The rate per 100k/population figures has fallen to 21.84. There are hopes that the rate will fall back below 20 again later in the week.

Infection rates have fallen at all levels today. York’s rate is now below the national average again

Neighbourhoods

The number of neighbourhoods with more than 3 cases has fallen back to 8.

Vaccinations

Tests

  • 4399 PCR tests were carried out during the week ending 27th April
  • Of these, 0.8% were positive. That represents a reduction on the previous days figure of 0.9%.
  • 1111 “lateral flow” test were also conducted.
