No additional deaths reported today by the York Hospital Trust.

TWENTY (20) new positive test results announced today. Brings the cumulative total to 5899

The rate /100k population figure has fallen to 57.9. That is the lowest figure since 25th September.

However, cases known to be in the pipeline will mean that the figure is likely to rise again to around 65 over the next few days.

The neighbourhood with the highest infection rate is now Woodthorpe/Acomb Park (117.7)

Some neighbourhoods have seen reductions including Heslington which has reached a second wave low of 41.7

North Yorkshire’s infection rates are now also reducing. The regional infection rate has now fallen below the national average.
