Deaths and cases

There have been no further deaths from coronavirus at York Trust hospitals. The last fatality – which brought the total to 214 – occurred on 18th June.

There have been no further positive test results (24/6/20). The last positive lab result was reported on 21st June. It brought the cumulative total to 463

Latest waste service update from York Council – Thursday 25 June

We collected all household waste as scheduled today, except for Acacia Avenue in Haxby, due to no access. We’ll recollect this on Friday 26th June.

We were unable to collect garden waste from parts of Huntington and Haxby due to capacity issues. Crews will be working this evening, Thursday 25 June, and Friday 26 June to recollect this.

We were unable to collect recycling from parts of Huntington, Rufforth and Clifton Moor due to COVID-19 restrictions. We’ll return for waste on Friday 26 June – please put your recycling boxes out by 7.00am. We collected all outstanding recycling and garden waste from Wednesday 24 June.
