What’s on: Eng-Age 50+ Games

Sat 26 Sept – Sun 4 Oct

50plusAll the favourites are back including tennis, bowls, martial arts and swimming. However, if you’re looking for something completely different to try out this year why not sign up for a half price Motor Gliding experience at York Gliding Club.
Ideal for all those over 50 thrill seekers!

Also available for the first time are ‘Try Fencing’ sessions at Burnholme Community Hub.

The 50+ Games is your chance to try a new sport or activity (often for free), become fitter, meet new people, and find out where to continue the activity   throughout the year. It is run in partnership with the 50+ Festival, which this year has a wellbeing theme.

A full programme of activities will be available from the beginning of September when you can visit www.york.gov.uk/engage or pick up a leaflet from libraries and leisure centres.
