Edinburgh Councillors react to James Alexander leaving City

Apparently the York Councils Leader and Chief Executive are on a day trip to Edinburgh.

This may be something to do with the upcoming Scottish independence referendum.

An opt out vote would increase the foreign travel opportunities which senior York Council nobs seem to find so attractive.

The Edinburgh Council currently has a Labour/SNP coalition running it.

Like Labour in York, the Edinburgh Council has been mired in controversy over land sales and Green Belt developments.

York Council delays in removing grafitti

Graffiti daubed onto public snickets off Thoresby Road has not been removed by the Council.

One report is over 10 days old.

We have urged them to get a move on!

Foxwood Park competition results

The Foxwood Residents Association has announced the results of its competition aimed at identifying ways in which the Foxwood Park on Bellhouse Way can be improved.

Many respondents wanted to see a separate area set aside for dog walkers.

Winners of £50 in the competition were Diana Cooper, Ellie Fletcher and Mark Russell Smith
